Read the active event before changing your plan

The official Mitosis description names Gold Rushes, Blood Moons, and Meteor Showers as events players can survive. A current event should change a specific decision—when to sell, when to split, what to watch, or what to collect. Read the event banner, its timer, and its live effect text before acting.

Event details are update-sensitive. The names are official. Gold Rush and Meteor Shower mechanics below are community corroborated by current interface captures, while Blood Moon’s precise bonus remains insufficiently documented and is kept cautious.

Identify an event correctly

Look for an announcement and a named event display rather than relying on scene color alone. A timer shows how long the specific event remains. If several event cards or banners are visible, track each countdown separately. One event ending does not prove that every bonus has ended.

Read whether the event applies to everyone present, a personal reward, or a claimed item. Current community captures show server-wide weather states and a Weather Jar shared by players. A level reward or starter-pack item that triggers Gold Rush is not the same thing as a naturally started event, even though the resulting event can share a name.

Also distinguish event names from cards and mutations. Gold Rush is a timed event, a card name, and a level reward context in current captures. Blood Moon is both an officially named event and a mutation name. The interface heading and surrounding fields tell you which one you are looking at.

Choose split, sell, or observe

Sell window

When the banner explicitly boosts sale earnings, prepare the best practical batch and finish SELL before that event timer expires.

Split window

When the event explicitly changes mutation opportunities, keep splitting while the named effect remains active and capacity allows.

Collection window

When objects fall or an event counter appears, watch the scene and counter while maintaining the normal loop. Do not assume a fixed reward.

Gold Rush is currently documented as a sale-focused window. Meteor Shower is documented with falling meteors and an event Token counter. Blood Moon needs its live effect text read directly; its official name alone does not support a claimed multiplier, drop, or mutation rule.

If a challenge is active, its Boss restriction still matters. A sale bonus does not remove limited TRIES, a half-paying rule, or a disabled card. Compare the remaining event time with the challenge requirement before using a sale.

Watch the Weather Jar

Current community captures describe a Weather Jar in the upper-right part of the lab. With enough players present, sold cells contribute to it, and a full jar can start random weather for the server. Contributions can change when players leave, so read the current progress instead of treating an earlier percentage as permanent.

When the jar reaches FULL, watch the announcement and identify the event that actually begins. Then move attention from the jar to the event’s own display. The jar explains how weather can start; the event card explains what is active now.

Meteor Shower is one event documented after a full jar. Other community-documented weather includes Eclipse, Candy Rain, Lava Rain, Rainbow, Acid Rain, Thunderstorm, Snowfall, and GLITCH. Those names provide context for overlapping timers but do not authorize separate pages in this section.

Handle overlapping timers

Suppose Meteor Shower is active and a second event begins. Keep the Meteor Shower counter and timer in view while reading the new event’s effect. If the second event favors mutations, splitting may advance both ordinary production and the new opportunity. If it favors sales, decide whether the current batch is large enough to sell before its shorter timer ends.

Do not assume that the latest announcement replaces the earlier event. Current captures show events ending independently. Respond to the timer that actually reaches zero. A bonus tied to an expired event should no longer drive the next action, while a still-visible Meteor Shower counter can remain relevant.

If the interface becomes crowded, choose one objective. For cash, prioritize the explicit sale bonus. For mutations, prioritize the explicit mutation effect. For event Tokens, watch the Meteor Shower counter. Trying to maximize every overlapping effect can lead to a poorly timed sale or a full board.

Gold Rush status

Gold Rush is officially named in the experience description. Current community captures report a sale multiplier during the active window and show a two-minute example tied to a level reward. Treat the multiplier and duration as current captured values, not permanent guarantees. Read your banner before selling.

The best practical route is to build cells before the window, confirm the bonus, and sell while it is still visible. If the timer is nearly over, a slightly smaller qualifying batch can be better than missing the window while waiting for full Capacity.

Blood Moon status

Blood Moon is officially named, but its precise event effect, duration, trigger, and reward remain insufficiently documented in the current public material. The useful action is identification: confirm that the active UI says Blood Moon and that you are not reading the Blood Moon mutation in the collection.

Once identified, follow the exact live effect text. If no effect is displayed, observe changes without declaring them causal. Keep the Blood Moon guide open for the specific disambiguation and session checklist.

Meteor Shower status

Current community captures show a named countdown, falling meteors, a TOKENS counter, and Tokens reaching the balance during the event. Captured totals differ, which is why this hub does not publish one fixed reward. The event can overlap other weather, and players can continue splitting and selling.

Use the Meteor Shower guide for the event-card route, counter checks, and recovery when the visual effect appears without a clear total.

Source note, checked October 20, 2026: all three section events are named in the official Roblox description. Weather Jar, overlap, Gold Rush sale behavior, and Meteor Shower counter details are community reported from current walkthrough captures. Blood Moon mechanics still need in-game testing.

Frequently asked questions

Can events overlap?

Current captures show independent weather timers overlapping. Track each named display separately and wait for its own ending notice.

Is Gold Rush always the same duration?

Do not assume so. A captured level reward describes a two-minute event, but other triggers or later balancing can differ. Use the live countdown.

Does Blood Moon mean I found the mutation?

No. Blood Moon can label an environmental event and a mutation. Check whether you are reading an event banner or a ball’s mutation entry.

Are Meteor Shower Tokens fixed?

No. Captured counters and ending totals vary. Read the current TOKENS display and your balance rather than planning around one example.
