Recognize Meteor Shower
Meteor Shower is named in the official Mitosis description. Current community walkthrough captures show falling meteors, a named event countdown, and a TOKENS counter that grows during the event. The event can run while normal splitting and selling continue.
Confirm the named display before changing your route. Falling particles without a Meteor Shower heading may belong to another effect, and a Token balance change without an event counter can come from challenges, rebirth, a wheel reward, or selling a card.
Captured examples show different Token totals. This page therefore does not publish a fixed reward per meteor or per event. Treat the live counter and resulting balance as the current session record.
Follow the event display
Event name
Verify that the active card or announcement says Meteor Shower before attributing particles or Tokens to it.
Official event nameCountdown
Use the displayed remaining time to decide whether another collection or production cycle is practical.
Duration may varyTOKENS counter
Watch the event-specific counter rise and compare it with the owned Token balance at clear checkpoints.
Variable totalMeteor visuals
Use falling meteors as a location cue, but require the named UI before claiming the event is active.
Visual evidenceTake a quick starting note: event counter, owned Token balance, remaining time, and any second event. This makes the ending result much easier to interpret.
Collect without abandoning the core loop
Meteor Shower does not require you to stop all production in the current documented captures. Continue splitting cells, managing Capacity, and selling useful batches while watching the scene and event counter. Avoid letting a full board stall the ordinary loop while you focus on particles.
If meteors require a direct collection action in the live version, follow the visible interaction cue. Do not assume every falling object is automatically collected or that every visual grants the same amount. Confirm the counter after the action.
Balance attention according to the session goal. A new player who needs early cash should keep the split-and-sell rhythm stable. A player saving Tokens for Auto-Split, another Skill Tree node, or a Card Shop offer should watch the event counter more closely without sacrificing a valuable mutation or challenge clear.
Compare the event counter with owned Tokens
The event TOKENS display and account Token balance can update at different moments in a captured session. Record both rather than assuming they are the same field. When the counter changes, wait for a clear checkpoint and inspect the owned balance again.
Before the event
Note the owned Token balance and whether another reward panel is open.
During the event
Track the Meteor Shower counter, timer, and any visible collection confirmation.
After the event
Wait for the ending state, reopen the Token display if needed, and compare the final owned balance.
Do not use another player’s total as a target. Different activity, timing, collection behavior, and balance versions can produce different outcomes. A variable counter is evidence that the result belongs to the session, not a fixed page-wide reward.
Continue a challenge carefully
If Meteor Shower begins during a challenge, keep the active goal and remaining TRIES visible. Chasing a meteor should not cause an accidental weak SELL or distract from a Boss restriction.
Complete safe collection actions while the next batch builds. Before selling, return attention to goal progress, Capacity, and the Boss line. Under Short Fuse, every try matters. Under Cold Snap, longer splits may give more time to observe meteors, but they also reduce the number of production cycles.
Token gains do not automatically count toward a cash target. Keep challenge progress and Token rewards separate. If a challenge completion also awards Tokens during Meteor Shower, note both sources and avoid assigning the entire balance change to the event.
Handle overlapping weather
Current community captures show Meteor Shower overlapping other named weather with independent countdowns. Do not assume the newest event replaces it. Keep the Meteor Shower timer and counter visible until its own ending state.
When Gold Rush overlaps, prepare and complete a valuable sale within the Gold Rush window while checking whether Meteor Shower remains active. When another event affects mutations, continue splitting only if Capacity and the challenge plan remain safe. Each event should be tied to its own named display.
If the interface is crowded, choose a priority:
- Protect limited challenge tries and irreversible decisions.
- Complete a confirmed timed sale if cash is the goal.
- Observe the Meteor Shower counter and collect only through visible, safe interactions.
- Resume the ordinary split-and-sell loop after each event action.
This order prevents a variable Token opportunity from costing a challenge run or a valuable prepared batch.
Understand Weather Jar context
Current community captures describe a Weather Jar shared by players in the lab. Sold cells can contribute when enough players are present, and a full jar can start random weather for the server. Contributions may change when players leave.
The jar is a trigger-progress system, not the Meteor Shower reward counter. When it reaches FULL, wait for the named event announcement. If Meteor Shower begins, follow the event card, countdown, and TOKENS field rather than continuing to treat the jar percentage as the active objective.
Because the result is random in current documentation, filling the jar does not guarantee Meteor Shower. Do not promise other players a specific event from one full jar.
Spend the Tokens deliberately
After the event, give the new balance a purpose. Skill Tree nodes can change the repeated progression loop, while cards can solve specific money, mutation, timing, protection, or challenge problems. Card Shop rerolls consume Tokens without guaranteeing a useful card.
Open the relevant panel and compare the exact live cost with the owned balance. Do not confuse “A REBIRTH NOW GIVES” with Tokens already owned. Preserve a savings target when a small impulse purchase would delay a meaningful node or visible card.
Use the Tokens guide for all currently documented sources and spending priorities, and the Skill Tree guide before committing to a connected branch.
Troubleshoot missing Tokens or visuals
If meteors appear but no named event panel is visible, close overlays and check the active event area. Do not assign the particles to Meteor Shower until the UI confirms it. If the named card appears but the counter does not change, observe one visible interaction and wait for the interface to update.
If the event counter rises but the owned balance appears unchanged, reopen the Token panel after a clear checkpoint or the event ending. Record both values. Avoid rejoining immediately, because leaving can destroy the evidence needed to compare the same session.
If an old guide promises a fixed total, compare it with the current event counter. Captured totals already differ, so the live result wins.
Source note, checked October 20, 2026: Meteor Shower is named in the official Roblox description. Falling meteors, the TOKENS counter, variable captured totals, balance timing, Weather Jar context, and overlapping weather are community reported from current walkthrough captures.
Frequently asked questions
How many Tokens does Meteor Shower give?
No fixed total is supported. Current captured counters differ, so track the event counter and owned balance in your session.
Do I need to stop splitting and selling?
Not in the currently documented flow. Continue the core loop while following any visible meteor interaction and protecting challenge decisions.
Does a full Weather Jar guarantee Meteor Shower?
Current community material describes random weather after the jar fills. Wait for the named announcement rather than assuming the result.
Can Meteor Shower overlap Gold Rush?
Current captures support overlapping weather. Track the Meteor Shower counter and Gold Rush sale timer independently.
