Quick route for your first session
Open the cell lab, press SPLIT, wait for the cooldown, and split again to build a batch. Press SELL when you want to convert the cells into cash. Spend that cash on Ball Value, Split Speed, or Capacity by reading the current effect, next effect, and price on the panels. Repeat until CHALLENGE becomes available or a mutation gives you a new system to inspect.
This route follows the official loop—split, sell, and buy upgrades—while the exact control placement comes from current community walkthrough captures. If a button or panel moves after an update, follow the same sequence using the labels shown in your server.
Learn SPLIT before automating it
With AUTO off, press SPLIT at the bottom of the lab screen. The cell count increases, then a timer or locked state prevents another immediate split. Wait for the progress to finish before pressing again. Repeated clicks do not shorten the cooldown.
Watch two limits: the split timer and Capacity. A ready button does not help if the board has no room for the new cells. Likewise, empty capacity does not remove the timer. Reading both prevents the common mistake of assuming the control is broken.
Manual splitting is useful at the beginning because it teaches the pace of one cycle. Auto-Split is a later Skill Tree option reported in current captures. Automation can press SPLIT for you, but it does not choose when to sell, which mutation to protect, or how to budget challenge tries.
When the board grows, hover over or select unusual cells. A new color may be a mutation, trait, special state, or an accessory worn by a ball. Use the name and the VALUE, TRAITS, or PAYS fields instead of identifying a mutation from color alone.
Sell a batch and read the result
SELL turns the current batch into cash. In an ordinary run, selling near your useful capacity is an easy starting rule because it gives each cycle a clear finish. It is not a universal optimum: an event timer or challenge attempt budget can make an earlier or later sale better.
Before selling, note the current ball count and any active event. After selling, read the payout and inspect what remains on the board. An ordinary early board can return to a simple start, while skills or special cells can alter the next setup. Build the next decision from what the interface actually shows.
SELL can briefly lock while a transaction finishes. Let the payout settle before assuming you need more cells. If the button remains unavailable, read nearby requirement text and confirm that another menu or challenge result is not covering the control.
Keep cash and Tokens separate. Cash funds the basic run upgrades on the right. Tokens support persistent progression, Skill Tree nodes, cards, and other long-term choices. A Token balance is not a reason to ignore the cash panels during a fresh run.
Buy the upgrade that fixes the bottleneck
Ball Value
Buy this when each cell needs to pay more. It improves payout without adding capacity or reducing the split cooldown.
Split Speed
Buy this when waiting is the main delay. It helps active play most when you are ready to press or automate the next split.
Capacity
Buy this when the board fills too soon. Extra space pays off only when you use it to build a larger batch.
Read the current effect and the arrow to the next effect before buying. The cheapest option is not always the most useful. If fast splitting immediately fills the board, Capacity becomes the next constraint. If a large board takes too long to fill, Split Speed matters. If production feels smooth but payouts remain small, Ball Value becomes attractive.
Do not follow one rigid purchase order across the entire run. Recheck the panels after several upgrades. The upgrades guide gives a fuller comparison and labels captured prices and caps as version-specific examples.
Enter a challenge with a different mindset
Current captures place a CHALLENGE entry near the top of the lab screen. While it is locked, continue the production loop and read the progress beneath it. When available, open it and read the difficulty, three-goal structure, Boss rule, and remaining SELL attempts before starting.
Ordinary play allows small test sales. Challenges can punish them because SELL normally uses a try. Build a meaningful batch, compare the current goal with the remaining tries, and check credited progress after each sale. On the third goal, the Boss adds a restriction rather than a conventional health bar.
Use the challenges guide before spending attempts. Completing a set can lead to the Card Shop, where Tokens and card decisions introduce a separate budget.
Leave the lab and choose a next goal
Current walkthrough captures show an Exit door control in the lower-left of the lab. Use it and wait for the teleport before pressing other controls. Outside the lab, do not assume every character, shop, or quest is required for the core production route; follow visible prompts and return to the lab when your goal depends on splitting or selling.
Choose one next objective:
- Improve cash flow with the money guide.
- Identify a new ball in the mutations list.
- Learn how several properties combine in the fusion guide.
- Save for a persistent choice in the progression hub.
- Prepare for limited SELL attempts in the challenges hub.
- React to a server timer through the events hub.
One objective per session makes progress easier to measure. Write down the live requirement—cash price, Token cost, goal amount, or node prerequisite—and confirm it again after the next update.
Recover from common beginner problems
If SPLIT does nothing, check its timer, AUTO state, and board capacity. If SELL does not respond, wait for the previous action to finish and close any covering panel. If a purchase fails, compare the displayed price with the correct currency rather than only the number.
If progress feels slow, identify the bottleneck instead of grinding blindly. Waiting suggests Split Speed, an early cap suggests Capacity, and weak payouts suggest Ball Value. A Rotten ball, Boss restriction, or expired event can also change results, so read active labels before blaming the upgrades.
If a code list promises an exact reward, verify it against the codes page and the live response. The official description currently lists Update2 and HALLOWEEN, but does not name their rewards.
Source note, checked October 20, 2026: the official Roblox description confirms the split, sell, cash, upgrade, mutation, rebirth, challenge, Boss, card, and event systems. Control locations and detailed flow are community reported from current captures and should be checked against the live interface.
Frequently asked questions
When should I sell?
In ordinary play, use capacity as a practical reference. Sell earlier if a valuable event is about to end, and sell more carefully in challenges where attempts are limited.
What should I upgrade first?
Choose the panel that fixes the current bottleneck. There is no single permanent order because each purchase changes what limits the next batch.
Is AUTO required?
No. Manual SPLIT teaches the loop. Auto-Split is a later progression convenience and still does not decide when to sell.
What should I do after the first upgrade?
Run another batch, compare the result, then choose a single next goal such as a challenge, mutation check, larger cash target, or Token-saving plan.
