Mitosis Mutation Combinations: VALUE, TRAITS, and PAYS

Recognize current Mitosis mutation combinations, read their VALUE and TRAITS components, compare PAYS, and manage unstable Rotten risk.

Read a combination before chasing a recipe

A Mitosis combination is a ball carrying multiple mutation properties. Current community captures separate value-oriented components under VALUE, behavior-oriented components under TRAITS, and the whole result under PAYS. Read all three areas before deciding that two balls produced a known mix.

The official description confirms fusion into mixes, but it does not publish recipes, odds, or payout formulas. The examples on this page are community reported from current tooltips and collection screens checked October 20, 2026. Use them to recognize a result, then trust the live tooltip for your version.

Documented examples

Vampire Toxic

Components: Toxic under VALUE and Vampire under TRAITS. This is a clear example of one value mutation and one trait on the same ball.

Community reported

Penta-Mutant Vampire

Captured structure: Toxic, Gold, and Stone under VALUE; Vampire and Coin Ball under TRAITS. The example tooltip contains five properties.

Example, not fixed recipe law

Eight-property best ball

Captured structure: Yin-Yang, Galaxy, Frozen plus Jackpot, Vampire, Echo, White Cell, and Coin Ball. Eight describes this ball, not a proven system cap.

Example best-ball view

Frozen Moon

Components: Frozen and Blood Moon. Current captures show conflicting values between collection and best-ball views, so use the live ball’s PAYS.

View-dependent values

Toxic Star

Components: Toxic and Celestial. Captured examples show an Unstable warning; confirm its current risk before splitting.

Community reported

Stony Slime

Components: Stone and Toxic. Its gray-and-green appearance helps recognition, but the tooltip is the authoritative identity.

Community reported

Molten Void

Components: Molten and Void. Current captures also attach an Unstable risk, which should be checked live before another split.

Community reported

Toxic Magma

Captured identity: a named green-and-molten result. Its complete component list is not frozen here because the available capture does not support every field.

Partial current documentation

Leaving a field unset is intentional. It prevents a visual guess from becoming a false recipe.

Use PAYS for the whole ball

Suppose a ball lists several VALUE entries. Those components help explain what is present, but multiplying their displayed collection values may not reproduce the whole-ball result. Current captures explicitly show a finished PAYS value that differs from a naive component calculation.

Use this comparison order:

  1. Read the result ball’s PAYS.
  2. Read its VALUE list.
  3. Read its TRAITS list.
  4. Read any Unstable or Rotten warning.
  5. Keep “1 in N” probability-style text separate.
  6. Keep collection values separate from the active ball detail.

This order answers the practical question—what does this ball currently pay?—before you interpret how it was assembled.

Understand unstable combinations

Frozen Moon, Toxic Star, Stony Slime, and Molten Void are community documented with an Unstable Rotten risk in current captures. A shown fraction describes probability on a split, not a guaranteed schedule. One safe split does not make the next one guaranteed to fail, and one Rotten outcome does not prove a deterministic pattern.

Before splitting, inspect whether the board has a Rotten counter. White Cell is reported to cure an adjacent Rotten ball on split. Vampire is reported to remove Rotten balls. Antibody is reported to improve Rotten payout and prevent spreading or doubling. Each counter has a different condition; confirm the live wording.

If the combination’s current PAYS is already useful, selling can be safer than risking another split. If collection is the goal, make sure the mix registered first. During challenges, factor in the remaining TRIES and Boss rule.

Work toward Chimera and Holy Star

Community captures document Chimera as a goal for placing a value mutation and a trait on the same ball. Vampire Toxic demonstrates the structure: Toxic is the value entry and Vampire is the trait. Two separate balls do not satisfy a same-ball condition.

Holy Star is documented as a high-multiplier mix or combo goal. Counted properties alone are insufficient. A ball with many entries can remain below the required PAYS, so read the whole result.

The official badge catalog confirms mutation-related achievements such as Fusion and Omni-Tosis, but badge names with empty descriptions do not prove these detailed requirements. Use the live achievements screen for the current wording.

Build combinations without sacrificing information

Follow the fusion guide to record both parent tooltips before they merge. Pause automatic actions when a valuable result appears. Compare the new tooltip immediately, then decide whether to preserve, split, or sell.

Do not attempt an internet recipe solely because its name sounds plausible. Many pages mix details from similarly themed games or invent currencies and crafting stations. The verified Mitosis route begins with the board, MUTATIONS, VALUE, TRAITS, and PAYS.

Use the mutations list to identify the 28 current names. Keep event labels separate: Blood Moon can name an event and a mutation, while Molten or Storm can be associated with weather windows.

Resolve conflicting values

Frozen Moon is a useful warning example because current community documentation records one multiplier in the collection and another PAYS result in a best-ball detail. These views can describe different contexts or reflect a version discrepancy.

Do not choose the larger number. Label the view, date, and current server, then use the active ball’s PAYS for an immediate sale decision. A later consistent capture can resolve the discrepancy without rewriting earlier evidence as certainty.

Source note, checked October 20, 2026: named mixes, components, and unstable warnings are community reported from current interface captures. The official source confirms fusion into mixes but not these recipes or values.

Frequently asked questions

Is eight the maximum number of properties?

No maximum is proven here. Eight describes one captured best-ball example.

Can I calculate PAYS from the VALUE list?

Use the displayed whole-ball PAYS. Current examples do not support replacing it with simple multiplication.

Why does a collection value differ from my tooltip?

Collection and live combination views can represent different contexts or versions. Keep the values attached to their view and trust the active tooltip for the current ball.

Is every named mix safe to split?

No. Inspect Unstable and Rotten warnings and the available counters before splitting a valuable combination.
